Cd = Battery contains cadmium

Hg = Battery contains mercury

You can recognize lithium batteries or accumulators by the chemical symbol “Li”. These also fall under the battery law. In addition to the information presented above, we would like to point out the following: Please ensure that when returning lithium batteries or accumulators or handing them over to collection containers for used batteries at retailers and public waste disposal providers, the batteries or accumulators are completely discharged.
